In 1912-1913 54 million children died from the flu pandemic and families were terrorized for a year. Now in 2020 President Trump ordered schools to open and children are getting sick in small numbers. Schools have to close and be cleaned. Children and teachers will be quarantined for 14 days. What next?
Well in September 54 million children will be expected to be in classes for the school year. There are many parents and guardians are refusing to send their children back to school and some have no choice because they have to go back to work.
There is a percentage of children refusing to where face coverings or social distance for unknown reasons. These children will have the potential to infect people or contract COVID-19.
So should you send your children back to school? Well here are some factors to consider.
1. How has the school prepared for safety of Covid-19?
2. Has you state met the requirements of your state health officials?
4. Can the school handle the use of face mask and social distancing measures?
5. Is the school prepared to deal with students refusing to wear face coverings or social distance?
6. Do you feel comfortable with the schools safety measure?
