What’s wrong with the USPS?

The election season is ramping up and in July the postal service ran out of funding to run effectively. We also have COVID-19 so it makes it tougher to deliver the mail.
President Trump hires a new post master to oversee the postal services and person was a large donor of the Trump campaign with no postal service experience. This person has virtually gutted the postal service almost to the barebones.
There has been reporting of mail not being delivered or delivered late. Some areas are seeing trucks leave with no mail on them. So what is the current staff doing all day?
these government officials are in fear of losing their jobs or contracting Covid-19 so some have called in sick, some have quit and some have been fired or laid off.
What does this mean for the election? If we go into lockdown again and have to vote by mail where would our ballots go?
Here is the answer to that question. The postal service is still a government agency which means the mail is protected by law. Priority mail is the most protected. All ballots are considered priority mail which means by law they must be delivered to their destination on time and without damage. They use the priority system for the very reason President Trump touts about every day. Mail fraud or in this case voter fraud. It is the safest form of voting there is. Trust the post office, mail your ballots and stay safe. Support #USPS
